Spuds & Aprons - Dining With A Great View

What would make a memorable dinner experience? Great food and great service are aplenty these days. How about the stunning view of the sunset with the running cable car line and Sentosa island at the background for that “special” factor. It did took my breath away the moment I stepped into Spuds & Aprons – the new kid on the block at the top of Mount Faber no less.

This place is a great place to just wind down and chill out with your friends and colleagues after a hard day at work. Helmed by Chef Derrick Ang, his sinful creations are bound to lifts your spirits up. The Metropolitant Team were there to check the place out and here are the notable dishes that leaves us craving for more:

• Chili Crab in a Tux – who would have thought that chili crab and potato skins go well together? This is a must try dish and is sure to delight.
• Tobiko Crusted Cod Fillet – this is an Atlantic cod fillet that is oven roasted and topped with Tobiko and served with green tea soba and aged ponzu sauce. The sauce is especially unforgettable with and it goes well with the succulent fish.
• Jar of Happiness – if all else fails to lift up your mood, this will do the trick. Lovingly made from shortbread biscuits, mixed berries, ice-cream (Ben & Jerry’s no less!) and warm berry compote all in a jar. If this can’t make you happy, nothing else will.

So check this place out! They are confident that they will make all hungry diners leave happy! Live music will be there to make your night more enjoyable every Thursdays. Our suggestion is to be there just before sunset to enjoy the great view with your favorite beer.
