Wine Fiesta 2015 is back as with the theme “Singapore-style food, wine & music”. Happening from 23-25 October, the 8th annual Wine Fiesta is Singapore’s largest outdoor wine festival held at Clifford Square. This three day soiree features 82 winemakers, 350 wine labels and a special theme this year of “Singapore style food, wine and music” in honour of our nation’s golden jubilee.

The fiesta will kick off on 22 October, Thursday, with an exclusive Winemaker’s Table Dinner which will offer diners the rare opportunity to sample 75 iconic wines and vintages with the respective winemakers playing hosts. This will be complemented by dinner prepared by four home-grown chefs and The Fullerton Bay Hotel. Tickets for the Winemaker’s Table Dinner are priced at $228++ per person.
Wine Masterclasses
While guests may look forward to sampling and buying wines at the event, they can also participate in any of the free wine masterclasses focusing on different wine related topics. These include:
– Giuseppe Vaira (G.D. Vajra) will be speaking about his love for Barolo wine from his native hometown of Piedmont, Italy.
– French and Australian winemakers will discuss their distinct Sauvignon Blanc styles and guests can experience wines cultivated in two very individual terroirs during this session.
– A special PLUMM glass masterclass will showcase how different glassware brings out the best in wines.
– Wine and food pairing masterclass with dishes presented by the four local chefs featured at Wine Fiesta.
Highlighting Singaporean talent, Wine Fiesta will feature four local chefs (Bjorn Shen of Artichoke, Malcolm Lee of Candlenut, Matthew Lee of The Rabbit Stash, Cheryl Koh of Tarte) as well as musicians from the Getai Group (Dru Chen, Roze & The Family Soul, TAJ, Tim De Cotta, Vandetta, Weish).
Local music talents will provide the final element that binds everything together. Soak in the dulcet tunes of local artistes presenting their original scores like Dru Chen, Roze & The Family Soul, TAJ, Tim De Cotta, Vandetta, Weish, or dance the night away with DJ Funk Bst*rd (Darker Than Wax).
