27 October 2012, Singapore – Best Model of the World Singapore is hosting two major events at the end of October to early November. The first event is a pre-judging session at Wave House Sentosa at 4pm on the 27th October 2012(Free Entry). This swim wear fashion show will featured all the 25 finalists of Best Model of the World Singapore 2012. The second event will be the grand final held at Zouk Singapore at 7pm on 8th November 2012(Ticket price $28). The event will feature four segments in the fashion show including fashion casual wear, swim wear, accessories and evening wear. The overall winners and subsidiary award winners will be crowned at the end of the event.
The Best Model of the World contest is one of the few international contests for professional models in the world (men and women). It was established in 1987 in the “Paris of the Orient” – Istanbul (Turkey), by Mr. Erkan Ozerman who is the founder and owner of Best Model of the World.
Best Model of the World (Singapore) will see 10 male and 15 female models compete for 2 titles to represent Singapore in the Best Model of the World international contest held in Turkey. The two winners stand to win cash prizes of SGD$1,000 each, a paid trip to Turkey to participate in the international contest and many more products and services packages.
The contest will also feature the following subsidiary awards: – Mr. & Miss Photogenic
– Mr. & Miss Popularity
– Mr. & Miss Radiant Skin
– Miss Best Leg
– Miss Most Gorgeous
Best Model of the World Singapore 2011 female winner Sharin Keong Hui Shan, the newly crowned New Paper New Face 2012 winner, together with Richmond Ang and last year’s finalists will be with us at Wave House Setosa and Zouk Singapore for the pre-judging and grand final of the contest.
The panel of judges for the grand final are Dick Lee (celebrity singer and songwriter), Cheryl.T Hansen (CEO, Miss Earth Singapore), Addie Low (CEO, Now Model Management) etc. The show also features local and regional talents like MITC dance crew, Tzire (Singapore fastest rapper), Kendra (Violinist) and Jee Yon (Singer).
