It is designed to replicate your files into the Backup Plus drive with a click of an icon. Once this is done, it can be migrated to the Windows 8 seamlessly. After migrating your files, Seagate Backup Plus drives can also be set up as a backup drive using the new Windows 8 backup feature, File History.

The portable drives version comes in 4 attractive colors: red, blue, silver and black with 500 GB, 750 GB and 1 TB storage capacities. The Backup Plus desktop drives comes in 1 to 4 TB storage capacities.
