10 November 2012 Singapore – At The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa, the Singapore Grand Final of the Elite Model Look contest was held to select the female and male winners from among the 19 finalists.
For the week and a half preceding the final, the finalists were completely immersed in the modeling universe with makeup/skincare workshops (by Make Up Store and Pro Academy), fittings and catwalk training (by Gnossem.com), hair care and styling (by Toni & Guy Hairdressing), photo shoots, rehearsals as well as gym training for the guys (by Ultimate Fitness Performance Studio). With stays at luxury hotels The Fullerton Singapore, W Singapore-Sentosa Cove and Hard Rock Hotel Singapore, they were chauffeured in top style by presenting sponsor, Volkswagen, in their distinctively-designed (automobile) models.
During the Final, a fashion extravaganza, styled by Gnossem.com and hosted by Ms. Jessica Tan, the finalists dazzled the jury and the guests with their catwalk, good looks and charming personalities. Another highlight of the night included a hi-octane performance by Motiv8, original DJ of the Black-Eyed Peas, who got the crowd moving and grooving with him onstage.
From the 12 girls selected during the online and live castings organized nationwide, who had the honor to strut their stuff in front of a jury composed of fashion and beauty professionals, the top three winners as well as winner of subsidiary title “Make Up Store Look 2012” were:
Lena Li Stewen : first-placed: 16 years old : 183 cm : Singaporean
Jenevieve Woon : 1st runner-up : 18 years old : 178 cm : Singaporean
Eugena Phang : 2nd runner-up : 20 years old : 172 cm : Singaporean
Francesca Tan : Make Up Store Look 2012 : 170 cm : Singaporean
From the 7 male finalists, there was an unexpected tie between two of them and they both share the first-placed position:
Berik Kazymzhanov : first-placed : 19 years old : 194 cm : Kazakh
David Hong : first-placed : 20 years old : Singaporean
For the top-placed winners in each category, they would each have won $300 worth of Make Up Store goods and services, Burberry Fragrances as well as one-year gym memberships at Ultimate Fitness Performance Studio. The top male winners each have a chance to be signed with either Elite Milan or UK and locally with Upfront Models. For the top female winner, she will represent Singapore in the prestigious World Final to be held on December 1st in Shanghai.

And so the competition (and adventure!) continues for Lena Li Stewen as she joins the winners from 70 other countries in Shanghai on Dec 1 for the most glamorous event of the year, the World Final of the Elite Model Look contest.
