28 January 2013, Singapore – Can you bake? The hunt is on for Singapore’s most popular pineapple tart is now on! Shoppers can visit Jurong Point’s site between 11 – 20 Jan to nominate their favourite pineapple tarts (both homemade and commercial nominations will be accepted). Alternatively, shoppers can submit their nominated tarts (min. 80 pieces) personally to JP1 Centre Stage, level 1 on 27 Jan at 12pm. Each entry submitted in person will receive a goodie bag worth $88.
All pineapple tarts will be put up for public voting at the mall from 12pm – 4pm. A total of $12,000 worth of prizes will be up for grabs for winning recommendations, so gather your family & friends to vote!
Shoppers will also get a chance to learn to bake pineapple tarts from celebrity chefs and cookbook authors Rita Zahara, Philip Chia and Michael Lau. Join their baking workshop and book signing from 2pm – 4pm.
