Energizer Singapore, the global leader in portable power solutions, will mark its fifth iconic Energizer Singapore Night Trail on Saturday, 2 May 2015, at Mandai, with an empowering cause by pledging S$11, 000 to support SportCares Foundation’s sports programs for the under- privileged and at-risk youth.
Embodying Energizer’s slogan of “That’s Positivenergy”, the idea of everyone having the positive power to make an impact transcends beyond the company’s culture to the consumers, Energizer Singapore pledges S$11,000 to SportCares Foundation, the official beneficiary, to encourage more community-engagement sports programs. Mr Harris Hwang, Commercial Director of Energizer Singapore and Malaysia, “Energizer believes that each individual has the power to create a positive impact. By supporting SportCares Foundation, we hope to help more people recognize this power in themselves and race for a brighter world.”
The registration opens from now to 9 April 2015. The collection period for the race packs will be on 11 and 12 April 2015 at Suntec City Mall East Atrium. Each participant will receive an exclusive official race tee (by The North Face) and goodie bag (valued at S$80) with products from Energizer, Schick and The North Face.
All participants who complete the race within the stipulated cut-off time will receive a medal unique to this year’s race.
The Energizer Singapore Night Trail features three competitive categories, 6km, 12km, and 18km, open to individuals. The fees start from S$37 for both Women’s and Men’s categories. Each participant will be equipped with a powerful Energizer Night Head-lamp to guide them while they experience a totally different perspective of this unique night trekking race.
The fun obstacle races have two categories, 1.5km and 3km, ideal for parent-and-child teams who seek family-bonding activities, and individual contestants of 13 years old and above who are after adventures. The fees start from S$30. All trail and obstacle races are set to test one’s determination and endurance.
At the carnival ground, ancillary carnival activities such as Energizer treasure hunt, reserve bungee, rodeo ride, games stations like “Flash & Dash S”, Energizer sales booth, and photo booth are designed to provide endless fun for participating families and friends.
Food and drinks will be on sale; it includes Travelling C.O.W (Chef on Wheels), lunch box sets, fruits, isotonic drinks, ice cream, Nestle Fitnesse sampling and snack bars.
