At the main event at Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road, Thai celebrity singer Natt Buntita gave a show-stopping performance, treating guests to the traditional tunes of the King’s Music, which was broadcast and popularised by the country’s first radio mast that was built in the neighbourhood in the 1920s.

Guests also sampled a taste of the neighbourhood through locally inspired dishes while sipping exclusive Chivas Regal Extra cocktails, before being whisked off on an exclusive Hotel Indigo tram to tour the neighbourhood, whilst learning more about the area and its stories.

Paying homage to the authentic Thai arts, a traditional puppet show from the Kuan Buang Laung Artist Colony entertained the guests, as they weaved in and out of the crowds and interacted with the guests.

The 192-room Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road is refreshingly local in design, incorporating elements of its surrounding neighbourhood into the hotel. This includes vertical gardens to reflect Bangkok’s iconic Lumpini Park, which is just minutes away, street art style murals depicting the story of the surrounding area and custom art pieces such as a wall of wireless radios reflecting the area’s history as the birthplace of the country’s wireless radio stations.

As well as meticulously designed guest rooms featuring spa inspired bathrooms, locally-sourced toiletries, private balconies and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, the hotel’s open-air infinity-edge pool and deck provides unparalleled views of the city.
