Globe to Globe Hamlet will be the first international production to grace the stage of the Grande Dame, but with only five performances in Singapore – one of the few countries to enjoy the most number of performances – be sure to book your tickets early to secure a seat at the intimate venue.

In just two hours and forty minutes, a company of twelve actors delivers this fresh, travelling version of Globe to Globe Hamlet in brisk clarity, without the longueurs from the Elizabethan era. With a spirit of improvisation, expect to see a modular travelling set with no-frills, designed to suit varying performing venues.

Globe to Globe Hamlet will be staged in 205 nations across 7 continents in venues from village squares to national theatres, palaces to beaches, before the tour concludes, fittingly enough, at Hamlet’s own Elsinore Castle on 23 April 2016. This is also the date that coincides with the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death.
