Get Ready For The One Piece Run 2016 In Singapore

The inaugural One Piece Run 2016 is happening on 6 March 2016 at the Kallang Practice Track.
One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. The storyline follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, and his Straw Hat crew on the trail of a treasure known as “One Piece”. As of June 2015, more than 320 million copies of the manga has been printed worldwide , making it the best­selling manga series in history.

A first for Southeast Asia, Singapore is the second Asian country to host the run after Taiwan. There were 12,000 participants at Taiwan One Piece Run 2015. The One Piece Run fever will continue in Okinawa, Japan, on 20 March 2016.

Singapore One Piece Run 2016 will be an a nime­themed fun run. Participants can immerse themselves in the world of One Piece by taking part in the fun run as well as the activities at the Race Village. Along the race route, there will be three checkpoints which are created based on One Piece’s storyline. Participants can enjoy the interactive experiences and photo taking opportunities while completing the fun run.

Early bird registration starts from tomorrow, 27 November 2015, to 31 December 2015. Participants can enjoy an early bird rate of $ 62 (retail price $68). For visitors to the Anime Festival Asia (AFA), they can register at the One Piece Run booth this week (27 ­ 29 November 2015) and get a free One Piece collectible, while stocks last.
