31 October 2012, Singapore – Those of you shopping for a new Windows 8 laptop will be spoilt for choices. Almost every major PC manufacturer released their Windows 8 offerings. Here are the latest from Lenovo for your consideration.
The flexibility of a laptop/tablet is the “IN” thing these days with the PC manufacturers. Announced yesterday, Lenovo introduces 4 new products: the IdeaPad Yoga 13 UltrabookTM, IdeaPad Yoga 11, ThinkPad Twist S230u, and Think Pad Tablet 2.
I kid you not, the IdeaPad Yoga series were designed to flex like a yoga master. It is the world’s first multi-mode Ultrabook with 360o flip design, the IdeaPad Yoga promises to provide users with the ultimate flexibility between work and play. The main feature of the Yoga is the revolutionary hinge design that allows it to rotate through a 360o angle and switch between laptop and tablet in one simple motion. The hinge design allows the IdeaPad Yoga to be used in two other modes in addition to laptop and tablet: convert them into a Stand by flipping the keyboard behind the screen to comfortably watch movies or view pictures up close, or bend them upright like a Tent to bring games or video chats to life. It is no wonder that they call this device the IdeaPad Yoga!
The IdeaPad Yoga 13 is powered by 3rd generation Intel Core processors and loaded with Windows 8 OS. It has super slim frame of 16.9 mm and weighs 1.54 Kg with 8 hours battery life. Display wise, it has 13.3 inch high definition IPS display with multi touch capability.
The IdeaPad Yoga 11, is the world’s slimmest multi-mode PC measuring just 15.6 mm thin. It is infused with NVIDIA Tegra 3 video card, 11.6 inch screen and 13 hours battery life.
