21 January 2013, Singapore – Now this is what the Metropolitant Team call a serious contender. The upcoming Xperia Tablet Z from Sony is set to blow your mind!
The Xperia Tablet Z features a 10.1-inch 1,920 x 1,200 display (hopefully a stunning Bravia HD), Qualcomm 1.5GHz quad-core APQ8064 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, 8.1-megapixel camera, NFC, LTE, and a microSD expansion slot. The Metropolitant Team assumes that it will run on the latest Android OS.
Now what’s the main selling point? Sony’s new tablet is just 6.9mm thick and weights 495 g! That’s slimmer than the iPad mini, which is 7.2mm front-to-back. That is amazeballllzzZZZzZz (pardon the nerd-gasm there). Not to mention that this baby is both waterproof and dustproof (lol). We know that its predecessors are splash-proof but waterproof? Wow… it brings a whole new dimension. The Metropolitant Team can already visualizing to bring this baby everywhere – even to the shower and groove to our favorite tunes or not missed out on a single episode of soapy Korean dramas.
Ahhhh…. now.. will the kind people of Sony please tell us the release date and price tag?
