The Pelican’s culinary team led by American chef, Dan Segall had chalked up over 20 years of experience at many respected establishments. CEO Keith Loh says: “We want to create a medley of bold flavours with freshness and simplicity in mind. The Pelican Platter thats serves 2-3 person is filled to the brim with raw oysters, clams, poached prawns, a whole crab, steamed whole Maine lobster with lobster tomalley that is stuffed into its shell, and marinated conch salad. Truly a seafood symphony, this dish is what you need to order each time you step into The Pelican
The Baked Snapper Pie will be a delight for fish lovers as it is filled with generous slivers of snapper, asparagus, and mushroom, under a golden layer of buttery puff pastry. You will not be able to finish this alone, bring a friend along or share this after the Pelican Platter.
Cod’s Tongue Casserole is my favourite dish in the entire menu. This unique delicacy (the part below the cod’s mouth) that’s favoured for its supple texture. It is lightly seasoned with salt and pepper and dipped in batter, before being deep-fried and matched with thyme, roast garlic and pork scratchings. Definitely a decadent combination with it goes with a pint of beer.
