Shaw Centre has reopened just in time for Christmas! Shaw Centre boast an exciting tenant mix of flagship stores, remarkable brands and outstanding F&B concepts.
Mr. Mark Shaw, Executive Vice President of Operations, Shaw Organization, commented: “With just 11,269sqm of retail space, we have packed in a number of flagship stores, and many quality brands and F&B concepts that are exclusive to the mall. Shaw Centre is now in line with consumers’ expectations for a current shopping mall.”
Mr. Christopher Shaw, Executive Vice President of Film Distribution, Shaw Organization added: “It has been an extremely moving project for us to inject new life into this building that is more than 40 years old. We demolished three floors and redistributed the levels to align Shaw Centre with Shaw House. Now the two malls exist side-by-side seamlessly like one.”
Brands include Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike, SK II, Mango, and Dreamweave Concepts. F&B concepts unique to Shaw Centre include Les Amis Group’s Aoki, Caveau Wines & Bar, La Strada, Les Amis and Shabu Shabu Gen, and the new La Taperia; Vinum Fine Wines and its two new retail stores Caveau Wines and The Whisky Library (which carries the latest World Whisky Bible’s top ranking Yamazaki Single Malt Sherry Cask 2013); Xi Yan Shaw, I Want My Noodles, and The Ship Restaurant & Bar.
A new basement was added to Shaw Centre that links to the Isetan supermarket at Shaw House. This new basement houses a food court by Food Republic with a total of 18 stalls and 4 mini restaurants, including five new stalls exclusive to Food Republic Shaw House: Bu Er Xin Handmade Bao (不二心包子), Saladicious (沙拉), Sumire Yakitori-Tei (すみれ焼鳥亭), Kimchi Xpress (韩国料理), and Makan Bagus Indonesian Cuisine (印尼餐). This is also the only food court on this side of Orchard Road and Scotts Road.
A number of promotions are currently running at Shaw Centre and the public can also look forward to an official launch and celebration to mark this significant milestone in the first quarter of 2015.
