NAPAPIJRI (reads as Na-Pa-Pi-Ri), a contemporary fashion label synonymous with expeditions, travels and discoveries, will make its debut in Southeast Asia with a 1,700 square-feet boutique located in Singapore’s newest luxury mall, Capitol Piazza (#01-26). This new flagship boutique opening will mark another milestone in the brand’s significant expansion in the Asia-Pacific region.
The NAPAPIJRI journey started in 1987, at Europe’s highest peak, Monte Bianco, where an Italian manufacturer of travel bags introduced a new meaning to outdoor apparels, combining innovative materials with a close attention to style and details. NAPAPIJRI will introduce their GEOGRAPHIC apparel line to Singapore that befits contemporary men and women.
The GEOGRAPHIC clothing range is inspired by open-air atmospheres of nature to the fast-moving rhythm of city life, bringing consumers in line with the great outdoors and urban lifestyles. Lightness and creativity are the main concepts behind the GEOGRAPHIC range’s informal look, where a mix of natural and spice hues pervade cool and comfortable fabrics.
Adopting the concept of “a refuge where customers feel at home”, that characterises all its mono- brand boutiques located in other major cities of the world like Italy, France, Norway, South Korea and Taiwan, the brand new boutique at Capitol Piazza is designed to reflect an inviting yet intimate atmosphere.
The boutique’s facade features floor-to-ceiling windows, accentuated by wooden textured frames that reflect a natural character and beckons shoppers to enter the store. Besides creating a seamless connection between the spaces, the windows allow customers to shop comfortably in a well-lit and spacious environment. One of the window panels features the Norwegian flag, a distinctive symbol, which highlights the principal inspiration of the brand, paying homage to the great Norwegian explorers from the early 1900s for their courage, passion, wanderlust and spirit for exploration.
The interior of the boutique takes on a contemporary chic approach with grey as the dominant colour to balance the bright lighting from its surroundings for a cosy and intimate ambience.
Featuring geometric lines with sleek furnishing, the boutique is artfully curated with wall-mounted black and white photographs, hand painted canvasses, travel photographs and a selection of books ranging from scenery to design, creating an all encompassing sensorial and sophisticated fashion space.
