The Metropolitant team gets invited to the newest casual dining restaurant in Central Business District, FYR Cycene Ond Drinc (pronounced as FIRE Kitchen And Drink), and what an Unbelievable Sumptuousness of Being!
Rustic decor and storied wall murals lend the restaurant a distinctive olden-day charm. Even the moniker is as old as time – it is the etymology of fire.

All of FYR’s cuisines and dishes are whipped up using the Josper Charcoal Oven, the Stradivarius of indoor barbecue ovens. Combined with the use of lychee wood, the dishes are bestowed with a wonderful smoky note that is tinged with sweetness.
All the cuisines and dipping sauces are home and hand-made. Take for example the Baked Freshly-Shucked Oysters. The noble sweet paprika, roasted garlic, chili padi, spring onion and calamansi all lend a distinctive quality to the fresh and succulent oysters. A touch of Asian spices amidst the European Cuisine.
This is a fiery offering that will satisfy the hankerings of those who love spicy food. The Spiced Deboned Red Snapper with Sambal Bellman lends a zest to the fish’s nutty taste.
Did we also mention about the range of Suntory whisky in FYR’s arsenal? Yamazaki, Hibiki, Hakushu… they have them all!
