A month after starting Soylent, I’m now hovering at 71kg. I’m also getting comments that I look slimmer (to my disdain since I like being bulky).
This week underscores the social aspect of eating where dining with family and friends mean so much more than Soylent.
I’m glad that the creator of Soylent, Robert Rhinehart isn’t an extremist in selling his product to be a total 100% diet replacement but one that you have when time is more precious and food components are measurable.
I crave solid food much less for lunch knowing that at dinner, I can tuck into a nice meal with my family or friends and fully enjoy the food and the company.
However, the taste of Soylent is getting boring. I’m thinking additive is needed to push it from neutral to appetizing.
The breakdown of my meals for the 4th week is as shown below. 1 packet of Soylent once made can last for 48 hours. 2 packets were used in the 4th week on Monday and Wednesday only.
