Sneakerheads rejoice! PUMA’s collaboration with Vashtie and Solebox is now available in Singapore.

PUMA’s second collaboration with celebrated New York creative, Vashtie Kola. Famed for being at the forefront of the Downtown New York City scene for over a decade – the Director, Filmmaker, Artist, Designer, Creative Consultant and DJ has become a style icon with a worldwide influence.
A quintessential New York girl, Vashtie embodies the intersection of drive, talent and culture, strengthening the notion that New York is the Mecca for nurturing and fostering creative minds. Establishing herself in New York since 1999, she quickly grew into a force melding art and style with her own personal touch.
Vashtie’s second collaboration with PUMA is an evolution and extension of her previous line, drawing particularly on street and soccer wear. This season, the NYC sweetheart gives a street luxe makeover to the classic R698 Trinomic. The silhouette’s upper has been repainted with a metallic liquid gold sitting atop PUMA’s trademark comfortable Trinomic sole in solid black. The result is a futuristic and exclusive piece that is bound stand out in the crowd.
The PUMA R698 X Vashtie Gold will be available at Limited Edt and Leftfoot stores from 4th July onwards at the retail price of SGD210.
SOLEBOX
PUMA and influential Berlin-based sneaker store, Solebox release the first part of the Adventurer Pack trilogy featuring the archive running silhouette, the Trinomic XS850.
The PUMA Adventurer Pack consists of three drops set to launch throughout the year. The idea behind Solebox goes back to the late 90s, early 2000s, when resourceful European sneakerheads frequently ventured to the United States to source rare, vintage or new footwear that were unavailable in their local markets. Selling these exclusive imports soon turned out to be a profound business model and in some cases laid the foundation to the opening of an actual store.
The Trinomic XS850 Adventurer Pack was inspired by Solebox founder Hikmet’s adventures in the United States. He not only brought rare sneakers to Berlin but also picked up an addiction to Jelly Belly – a true American jellybean treat. His favorite flavor, the Berry Blue, was the key inspiration to the footwear’s colourway.
The XS850 was first introduced in the 90’s and was renowned for its distinctive use of the revolutionary PUMA Trinomic System – hexagonal honeycomb-like cells in the sole that compressed and rebounded load. It quickly found favor amongst runners who enjoyed the cushioned ride. Incorporating the comfort of the system into lifestyle shoes, the Trinomic system is now a regular feature that fans can expect in the current and upcoming shoe routines.
The Trinomic XS850 Adventurer Pack will be exclusively available at Limited Edt stores retailing at SGD 199 from 27th June onwards.
