In celebration of the nation’s 50th birthday, the historic Goodwood Park Hotel has unveiled a series of promotions for everyone.

SG50 Red and White Durian Mousse Cake – 1 to 10 August 2015

Inspired by the colours of the Singapore flag, this limited edition cake features layers of white and crimson sponge alternating with creamy D24 durian mousse. Only beaten egg white is used in this version, rendering an ethereal lightness that is irresistible. It is crowned with a quirky icing sheet adorned with bold red patterns and the iconic ‘SG50’ logo.

The cake is available for takeaway at $50 nett during this limited period at the hotel’s Deli. Guests may visit the Deli from 9am to 9pm daily or call (65) 6730 1786 for orders.

$50 Taiwan Porridge Set Menu for 2 at Coffee Lounge 3 August to 30 September 2015, lunch and dinner

Priced at $50++ for two persons, guests can enjoy an extremely value-for-money set of five dishes (one serving each) to be selected from a list of 15 that include signatures and popular must-tries such as Fried omelette with chye poh; Chilled beancurd in Japanese soya sauce and pork floss; Braised pork belly with dark soya sauce; Wok fried beef with black pepper; Stir-fried kang kong with sambal; and Fried chicken with prawn paste.
