TLDR: Edge is flying in four Penang hawker veterans for a six week buffet featuring fried oyster omelette, handmade popiah, Nyonya classics, apam balik and more. KFC Singapore is going all out for Pokémon. TLDR: Mandarin Oriental Singapore’s MO BAR has launched its first house spirit, a tropical Old Tom Gin made with mango, mandarin and osmanthus, priced at S$150++. TLDR: INGU has a lot to choose from. TLDR: Guangzhou’s official Pokémon TCG Gym is a massive 1,800 sqm Pokémon destination filled with plushies, collectibles, cards and exclusive Chinese merchandise. TLDR: Hakka Yu 客语 started in Guangzhou before expanding across China and eventually Singapore. Our feast for three came to just RMB337, around S$60. Hot, humid, packed with people and approximately 37 strangers accidentally appearing in every photo. TLDR: 大嫂镬仔·啫啫煲·老字号广州味 has become a favourite among locals for its traditional Cantonese 啫啫煲, smoky wok hei and generous portions. We paid RMB394 for three people and would gladly return.
