Held on 25 to 26 April at New Bahru School Hall, it felt like a sharp snapshot of Korea’s evolving craft scene for a Singapore audience that knows its flavours. Okay so here’s something I didn’t realise about myself until recently. A collaboration between POP MART KUBO and 100PLUS built around one idea, showing up for what actually matters. Sharp just launched a phone with a feature that nothing else on the market has. Shake the AQUOS wish5s, even when it is inside a bag, and it triggers a loud alarm and sends your GPS coordinates to pre-registered contacts automatically. No unlocking, no navigating. That one function tells you everything you need to know about what this phone is for. Chicken rice, but not the way you remember it. Crocs just made it easier to do the right thing with your old clogs. From 22 April, the brand’s Old Crocs. New Life. Takeback Box programme is live across all 17 Crocs stores in Singapore, making it the first market in Southeast Asia to run the initiative. Singapore recorded its sharpest rise in domestic violence cases in years in 2024, with new cases climbing 14% across both severity tiers according to the Ministry of Social and Family Development. The headline numbers demand careful reading. Child abuse drove most of the increase, with high-risk cases requiring statutory intervention rising from 2,011 to 2,303.
