Taking place from 6 pm until midnight in the last three days of the week, this special “fair” attracts not only locals but also foreigners. @pizza4ps was top on the list when I asked fellow Singaporeans for recommendations. The place looks nice with the open concept kitchen, oven and impeccable service. Hỏa Lò Prison was a prison in Hanoi originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. This little coffee shop has a terrific egg coffee, a Vietnamese speciality which you have to try. A mixture of egg yolks condensed milk and sugar is beaten and layered on top of the coffee. Yum.
