25 October 2012, Singapore – Peach Blossoms’ Chef Chan will present over 10 specialties using different rice varieties in the month of November. Expect the dishes to be in part set and à la carte menus for the fickle minded consumers.
Stir-fried Multigrain Rice with Seafood consists of white, brown and black glutinous rice, prawn and scallop. Served in a steamed pumpkin, this dish is only available as part of Set Menu A at $68++ per person. A similar dish, using corn instead of seafood, in the à la carte menu at $20 per order (serves 2 to 3 persons). But for the greedy guts, you might want to order another dish to satisfy yourself.
The Steamed Rice with Pork Rib is made special with Chef Chan’s creative sauce. The marinated pork ribs are is steamed with the rice for 45 minutes. This simple dish is available in the à la carte menu at $12++ per person. If you are looking for something adventurous or exotic, choose something else.
Fish lovers will enjoy the Poached Grouper Fillet in Rice Broth served with vermicelli. It is available in our à la carte menu at $24++ per order (serves 2 to 3 persons).
