The Sukosol – Bangkok’s luxury hotel with a new look

31 October 2012, Singapore – This November, The Sukosol Hotel (previously known as Siam City Hotel) will reopen her doors  after a multi-million baht facelift.

The art pieces and antiques from around Asia that decorates the hotel were carefully curated by Kamala Sukosol herself. It gives guests a rare treat into the region’s diverse history and culture. For example, the prominent marble sculpture that is positioned above the reception desk depicts the noble achievements of Thailand’s ‘Great Kings’. The piece is the fine touch of the late Kaimook Xuto, a personal sculptress to the Thai royal family, and is just one of the many priceless artefacts on display throughout the culturally vibrant hotel.

The hotel itself  is situated downtown adjacent the express Airport Rail Link and city-wide Skytrain network. Best of all, the hotel comes with facilities that is expected of a world-class hotel — free Wi-Fi, state-of-the-art gym, fine restaurants as well as the renowned Thai service.
