8 February 2013, Singapore – Are you one of those still doing your last minute Chinese New Year shopping? Have you decided where to toss your Yu Sheng with your family members? I’ve finally decided where I am going to bring my relatives to this Chinese New Year.
To usher in the Year of the Snake, you can choose to have Chef Jackson’s new creation of the Fruity Yu Sheng consisting of fresh tropical fruits like Mandarin Oranges, Peaches, Rose Apples, Rock Melon, Dried Persimmons, Green Mango and Papaya. Definitely a welcome change after years of the usual/same kind of Yu Sheng
My personal favorite? Their live station featuring the Mini Pen Chai with special ingredients such as Fish Maw, Prawns, Sea Cucumber, Sliced Abalone, Roast Duck, Chicken, Pork Cabbage and Black Moss. Relish in the freshly steamed Red Garoupa Fish in Superior Stock available for dinner.
Another thing that you should look out for is the Durian Nian Gao topped with Bah Kwa. The taste? You have got to try them yourself to check it out! As usual, less talk more food. So head down and chow down everyone!
