4 Junly 2013, Singapore – Films At The Fort presented by BlackBerry, an open-air cinema that combines critically acclaimed films with gourmet food and wine, will be happening from 22-25 August 2013.
Set in Fort Canning Park – Fort Canning Green, filmgoers can catch movies such as Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007 (NC 16), Silver Linings Playbook (NC 16), The Intouchables (NC 16) and Top Gun (PG). In addition to these award winning feature films, one short film produced by an emerging Singaporean film maker will also be screened each night. These films have been specially curated to provide the audience with a better insight into Singapore’s culture, and at the same time, showcasing our local talent.
Fret not if you need food to go along with your movie, dishes prepared by gourmet food partners will be sold on-site on a per consumption basis. Alcoholics do note that the drinks menu which includes Australian and NZ Wines, French champagne, boutique beer and ciders. Those in the mood for dessert can also get their hands on ice-cream and popcorn at the dessert bar.
Tickets can be purchased via Sistic.com.sg and the first 500 people to arrive each night will receive a complimentary inflatable wedge cushion.
