One of Singapore’s hottest youth percussion band, Singapore Management University’s Samba Masala takes their annual Christmas performance up a notch. Samba Masala’s heart-thumping and catchy beats have seen them active in the local Arts scene, most notably through its many public and private gigs as well as the band’s annual concert. Samba Masala’s music has also brought them international recognition in places like Los Angeles, London, Ireland and most recently Coburg, Germany where they entertained the crowd in one of Europe’s biggest Samba Festival.

Samba Masala’s “Santa’s After Party” sets out to answer the one question left unanswered: “What happens to Santa Claus and his Santa Helpers after Christmas?” Well, this year, Santa has decided to bring his entire crew down to Singapore for a massive vacation, where they will party non-stop to welcome the New Year.

The well-informed Santa has planned his two parties’ venues: Orchard Road and Clarke Quay. Timings of his parties include 1400 and 1600 at Ngee Ann City, followed by 1900 and 2100 at The Read Bridge, Clarke Quay. This entire after party will last through the last weekend of 2013. Everyone is highly encouraged to come take part in this massive party.

Samba Masala aims to infect all their audiences with the Spirit of Christmas and bring it across to the New Year because even though Christmas might be over, the party is only getting started!

With an exciting plotline and extensive practice, Samba Masala’s Santa’s After Party will place greater emphasis on the arts of fine showmanship, artistic flair and style. Santa’s Crew will impress you with all they have got. Brace yourself, because this will be no ordinary party.

Lend your support to these youths and enjoy the thumping beats!
