From 3 November 2014, VietJet will be introducing a new route connecting Hanoi and Siem Reap.

The latest flight route will see the airline departing Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi at 5.15pm and Siemreap International Airport in Cambodia at 8.05pm daily (local time). The flight duration per section is 1 hour and 50 minutes.

“We are delighted to introduce Siem Reap as our latest destination which further demonstrates our strong commitment to developing one of the most dynamic flight network across the Asia Pacific region. With its rich culture and fascinating heritage, Siem Reap is one of the most inspiring destinations for travelers all over the world,” says Mr Desmond Lin, Business Development Manager of VietJet.

As a gateway to the stunning temples of Angkor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Siem Reap is a hugely popular resort town, which has attracted Vietnamese tourists in recent years. The new direct route linking Hanoi and Siem Reap will tap on the demand for travel between the two hubs, further boosting the development of trade and tourism between Vietnam and Cambodia.

The flight departs Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 8.50am (local time) and Changi International Airport at 12.40pm (local time).

VietJet currently operates 21 local and international routes. In addition to this latest connection to Cambodia, the airline also offers direct flights from Hanoi and Da Nang to Seoul and from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to Bangkok.

Known to be a new age carrier, VietJet looks to consistently add innovative and added value services such as inflight duty free shopping.
