Celebrate the Lunar New Year with joy and good fortune at PARKROYAL on Beach Road from 6 February to 5 March 2015. Taking centrestage at Plaza Brasserie’s Prosperity Feast is two lamb dishes to welcome the Year of the Goat. Enjoy the full-bodied Lamb Stew with Herbs, or the Lamb Siew Mai, crunchy with diced water chestnuts and sweet coriander fragrance.

Chef Pang Kok Keong of Antoinette shatters the mold of tradition in a very nice way this Chinese New Year. The Queen’s Yu Sheng—his take on the classic raw fish salad—is set to change preconceptions forever. It’s a dessert; it has French elements; it comes with a hammer; and it’s eaten at the end.

Nourish your family with Blue Lotus’ three specially crafted Chinese New Year set menus. Ichiban Boshi and Ichiban Sushi
Ichiban Boshi and Ichiban Sushi is taking Year of the Goat celebratory feasting to new heights with a new, unique Yuzu dressing for the traditional dish.
Available for dine-in and takeaway, the Auspicious Set, S$48.80, serves 7-10 people, perfect for large family reunions. Another option priced at S$38.80 is the Bountiful Set, which serves 4-6 people. With every Auspicious Set purchased, diners will receive a S$5 dining voucher and ang pow packets (red packets) while stocks last.
Additional raw fish – Maguro (Tuna), Kajiki (Swordfish) or Salmon – can also be ordered at S$6.80 for 8 pieces.

To start off Chinese New Year celebrations, PUMA introduces a footwear collection to commemorate the Year of the Sheep. The collection comprises two of the brand’s most iconic archive running footwear – the TX-3 and Cabana Racer.
In this collection, PUMA injects Chinese inspiration and tradition to these classic styles. The sheep, an important animal in the Chinese zodiac, is often associated with tenderness and is a symbol of good fortune. The CNY TX-3 is available in two colourways, PUMA red and fern green, while the CNY Cabana Racer comes in strong blue and marigold. Both shoes feature an embroidered metallic sheep symbol on the tongue and on the heel. Gold ingots, a symbol of prosperity, fasten the laces on the anterior.
