This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, 15th March will take place along Boat Quay, beginning in front of the Raffles Landing in front of The Arts House, and ending at the UOB Plaza. Participants from all walks of life are welcomed to don “40 shades of green”, and join in the parade.
Returning to the parade streets for the march this year includes the St. Patrick’s School, the Singapore Pipe Band Association, The Irish Chamber of Commerce, Down Syndrome Association, St. Patrick’s Society, The Irish Graduates Association, UWC South East Asia, The Singapore Ireland Fund, Gaelic Dragons Dragon Boat Team, USA Girl Scouts Overseas (Singapore) and the SJI International School & Samba Band.
The Gaelic Lions GAA players, apart from joining the parade march this year, will be providing skills classes in Gaelic Football, Ireland’s national sport, to the public on the day.
