Bar Dominance Through Food – Harry’s Bar

6

Since the last Harry’s tasting that Metropolitant’s Jason and Michelle went for in October last year, they have been pining for the Mushroom and Truffle flatbread. It is now no longer weird to say one wants to go to Harry’s for good food. The outstanding Harry’s beer is consistent and still a must have when you visit Harry’s.

Since the introduction of an all-new food menu that spans a varied repertoire of gourmet Small Plates to hearty Big Plates last year, Harry’s has become a popular dining destination for many patrons who are already well-acquainted with this unassuming yet polished dining and bar brand that exudes comfort, inviting and sophisticated vibes. Having just unveiled a new selection of mouth-watering additions that provide more food for thought and enjoyment, Harryís is the ideal spot for a delicious urban getaway.

METROPOLITANT’S MUST TRIES AT HARRY’S

Harry’s Signature Wings have their heat level lowered to cater to those who cannot take too much spiciness. However, a separate chili jam is served on the side for those who still need to savour the wings hot hot hot!

1

The Fish Cracklings ($13); crisp-fried fish skin tossed in a proprietary spice mix served with Aioli was crispy and complimented well with Harry’s Signature beer. We have a feeling this will be a hot favorite amongst the regulars.

2

The Chirpy Chips ($14) sprinkled with savory chicken floss and served with curry mayonnaise will definitely be a great starter for sharing so you will not be too empty for alcohol.

3

A firm favorite among many guests, Harry’s has launched more renditions of this Italian-inspired classic prepared with homemade bread dough. A play on local flavors, Sassy Satay ($22) comprises a peanut sauce base topped off with smoky grilled chicken satay pieces and finished with tangy pineapples and cucumber for a refreshing taste.

4

A highly-recommended pasta choice is Beef Stroganoff($22); slices of grilled beef cooked with penne pasta in a fragrant cream sauce. This dish would be a highlight and great for that friend who is late from work and had not had his/her dinner. We all have a friend like that.

Maintaining its trademark laid-back vibe, Harryís Clarke Quay presents an inviting space that reveals the wanderlust traveler side of Harry’s. This new outlet is marked by a well-trodden bicycle, which sits proudly at the entrance.
Guests will feel right at home as soon as they step into the almost cavernous interior characterized by dark brown and deep blue hues, chic furnishings, and accented with offbeat touches such as sleek, light fixtures fashioned from musical instruments, as well as memorabilia gathered from Harry’s extensive travels. The suitably low-lit setting and many private nooks and corners provide the perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of Clarke Quay.
