In celebration of this festive occasion, Chui Huay Lim Teochew Cuisine will be serving Sesame Glutinous Rice Balls in Walnut Paste with every order of the restaurant’s 3-in-1 Set Menu ($238 per set, U.P. $298) featuring authentic Teochew specialities such as Teochew Style Hotpot with Seafood and Tianjin Cabbage in Superior Broth; Teochew Style Roasted Suckling Pig (Half Portion); and Live Boston Lobster and Glass Vermicelli Braised with Teochew Spices in Claypot.
Complemented with a smooth walnut paste, the delicate spheres of glutinous rice balls enveloping a black sesame filling is a comforting dessert to be enjoyed during traditional Chinese celebrations of family reunions. Sesame Glutinous Rice Balls in Walnut Paste is also available a la carte at $20, $30 and $50 for small, medium and large portions respectively.
