A must-try is the house speciality Gan Xiang 干香螃蟹 version (left), made with an enticing combination of spicy dried shrimp, curry powder, lemongrass, dried chillies, fermented soybean paste, along with other secret ingredients that make this dish a crab lover’s dream!

Other flavours not to be missed include the dark horse Honey Marmite Crab, as well as X.O Crab Bee Hoon Soup 粗米粉螃蟹 ($59.90), made with a clam-based superior stock.

For the ultimate experience, partake in a sumptuous five-course ‘All-Stars Menu’ that showcases the lauded signatures that have been part of the restaurant’s success story.

Coated with a light crispy batter of cream crackers and flour for that added crunch and tossed with handmade salted-egg yolk powder and curry leaves, the signature Salted Egg Yolk Sotong 咸蛋苏东 is an utterly addictive dish.

Another highly-recommended item is the Champagne Pork 香槟排骨. For the perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavour in each bite, juicy doubled deep-fried pork collar is tossed in a flavour-packed sauce.

The Brinjal Claypot 鱼香茄子煲 is cloaked in a piquant homemade sauce, served piping hot at the table and best savoured with a bowl of steaming white rice.

Served in a thick superior stock with natural sweetness from a generous portion of succulent fresh clams and wolfberries, this silky Superior Stock Clam Bee Hoon 啦啦米粉 is undoubtedly the highlight.
