This August, Singapore Indoor Stadium is set to reverberate with the energy and intensity of the much-anticipated UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs. The Korean Zombie, taking place on Saturday, August 26. Singapore becomes the battleground for the exhilarating showdown between #2 featherweight former title contender Max “Blessed” Holloway and #7 “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung. The event begins at 5 p.m. SGT, with the primary card following at 8 p.m.

Singapore’s vibrant scene also welcomes the semifinals of ROAD TO UFC Season 2, scheduled for August 27. This exclusive tournament draws the best MMA prospects from across Asia, all vying for coveted UFC contracts.

UFC’s enduring presence in Singapore bolsters the city-state’s position as a leading international destination for high-calibre sports and leisure events. Kevin Chang, UFC’s Senior Vice President and Head of Asia, expressed his excitement about the upcoming events. “We can’t wait to put on another thrilling event for our loyal fans in Singapore and showcase this dynamic city,” he said. He also extended gratitude for the Singapore Tourism Board (STB)’s continued support.

Ong Ling Lee, STB’s Executive Director for Sports and Wellness, responded in kind. “We are delighted to build on last year’s success with an action-packed weekend this August, and we look forward to UFC fighters and fans enjoying all that Singapore has to offer as a dynamic and vibrant destination,” she remarked.

The event will be the fifth UFC staging in Singapore, a city that has previously hosted successful events including UFC 275: TEIXEIRA vs PROCHAZKA in 2022. This historic occasion marked the first UFC Pay Per View event in Southeast Asia and set a new record for the highest gate at a Singapore Indoor Stadium event. As Singapore continues to echo with the roar of UFC’s triumphs, it cements its status among leading international locations such as Abu Dhabi, London, Las Vegas, and New York City, that frequently host UFC events.
