Singapore’s skyline is about to get even more futuristic. Starting mid-November 2025, Mount Faber Leisure Group (MFLG) will expand its fleet of SkyOrb Cabins on the Singapore Cable Car’s Mount Faber Line from seven to twenty, tripling its capacity and bringing the experience to more guests.
First launched in March 2024 to mark the cable car’s 50th anniversary, the SkyOrb Cabin made headlines as the world’s first chrome-finished spherical cable car. Designed in Olten, Switzerland, its illuminated rings and glass flooring create an immersive 360-degree view of Singapore’s skyline. Each cabin also features enhanced ventilation through double and triple louvred windows, ensuring comfort throughout the journey between Mount Faber and Sentosa.

This expansion signals MFLG’s continued push for innovation and future-ready tourism, aligning with developments across the Greater Southern Waterfront. It also transforms the experience from a one-way ride into a complete round trip, making every flight both scenic and seamless.
To celebrate, MFLG is offering a limited-time promotion from 6 October to 5 November 2025—a SkyOrb Cabin Round Trip for two at $60 (usual price $96). The offer is available exclusively online through MFLG’s official booking portal.

Whether you are a visitor or a local rediscovering the city from above, the SkyOrb Cabin promises a ride unlike any other—a fusion of design, engineering, and wonder in the skies of Singapore.
