WHEN A RESORT TELLS A STORY: LA FESTA PHU QUOC’S NEW ART-INSPIRED WING IN SUNSET TOWN

There are resorts you stay in, and then there are resorts that gently pull you into a narrative. At La Festa Phu Quoc, Curio Collection by Hilton, the latter has always been the point. With the unveiling of its new art-inspired wing in Sunset Town, the resort deepens that idea, not by adding spectacle, but by adding soul.

Set on a hillside overlooking the Kiss Bridge, the new wing introduces 29 suites and duplexes designed around a fictional musician named Tran. It is a quietly poetic concept. Each suite reads like a chapter from a travel diary, with vinyl-style door markers, piano-inspired desks, and curated artwork that blends Phu Quoc’s coastal rhythms with the romance of Italy’s Amalfi Coast. It feels personal, almost introspective, as if the space was designed for travellers who value mood and meaning as much as comfort.

The design language continues beyond the rooms. Francesca, the new rooftop pool bar and sunset deck, is positioned as a place for unhurried evenings rather than high-octane nightlife. Two levels of indoor and alfresco seating look out over Sunset Town’s glowing skyline, making it an easy anchor point for golden hour drinks and late conversations.

Dining also takes on greater depth with three new venues. Finca leans into Mediterranean warmth with shared plates and grilled specialities, Seta offers refined Cantonese cuisine with fresh seafood and dim sum, while Luna Folk brings a jazz-tinged, American-Italian speakeasy mood to the evenings. Together, they form a dining trail that mirrors the resort’s broader narrative of travel, craft, and cultural layering.

This expansion arrives as Phu Quoc steps into a new phase of accessibility, with airport upgrades and new air routes on the horizon. For travellers seeking a resort that feels thoughtfully composed rather than generically luxurious, La Festa’s new wing offers something increasingly rare: a sense of place that unfolds slowly, and stays with you.
