Singapore recorded its sharpest rise in domestic violence cases in years in 2024, with new cases climbing 14% across both severity tiers according to the Ministry of Social and Family Development. The headline numbers demand careful reading. Child abuse drove most of the increase, with high-risk cases requiring statutory intervention rising from 2,011 to 2,303. Physical abuse surged 32% in a single year. Moving Postcards: Singapore Sak Yant has been around long enough to survive being misunderstood. The practice predates modern Thailand, shaped through Khmer influence and protective belief systems that do not fit neatly inside Buddhism or anywhere else. The scripts are derived from Pali and old Khmer forms. The designs are built around yantra — sacred diagrams believed to carry intention. None of that is chosen from a catalogue. Singapore has a new burger address, and it opens at 50 Amoy Street on 3 April 2026. Johnsonville has been Singapore’s number one sausage brand for three years running, and the reason is straightforward: 100% premium pork, fresh not frozen, seasoned with a unique blend of spices, with the right balance of meat and fat to stay juicy and never greasy. Dyson’s CMF engineers did not pick the Ceramic Apricot colourway from a mood board. They mapped the colour spectrum of the summer solstice, plotting shifts in daylight intensity from sunrise through to sunset, and used that data to blend the pigments. The result is a palette of mandarin orange, soft apricot blush and shimmering gold that sits across the entire Dyson Beauty range. The binocular has not changed much in a century. Leica thinks it should. The Noctivid Compact 8x25 and 10x25 are a ground-up redesign of the compact form — new optical construction, the same fine leather used on Leica cameras, and a field of view that punches well above the size of the instrument. Small enough for a jacket pocket, capable enough to track wildlife on a hillside or read a stage from the back of a concert hall. Clarke Quay is typically associated with high traffic, loud music, and crowded dining spots. Tomo Tokyo sits slightly away from that stretch, offering a quieter riverside setting with both outdoor seating and private dining options. Victor Sanz has been thinking about slowness. The Creative Director of TUMI built his Spring 2026 collection around a single idea: that the best travel is the kind where you actually feel where you are. Shot at Villa Fortaleza and Cala San Vicente in Mallorca by photographer Dario Catellani, Mediterranean Escape translates that sensibility into luggage and bags with the conviction that colour is its own kind of storytelling.
