7 January 2013, Singapore – Foot-massage centers are always packed with everyone from hordes of tourists to a steady flow of locals in need of rest and relaxation. What’s the secret behind this ancient method of foot reflexology that dates back nearly 1,800 years?
We tend to ignore our feet, for the most part, until we spend hours walking. A foot massage is not only a way to relax, but, some suggest, it provides key health benefits, especially if you have poor blood circulation or if you need to relieve stress. By skillfully placing pressure on specific points on each foot, toxins can be eliminated, blood circulation and vital organ functions can be stimulated and nerves can be calmed.
Feet Haven Reflexology, a premier foot reflexology spa located at 136 East Coast Road has garnered more interest and support from residents staying in Joo Chiat, Marine Parade and Katong area.
Centre Manager Wendy Toh said ‘We have seen a huge interest and demand for Foot and Body massage ever since the opening of Katong i12. A lot of customers have given us good feedback and even suggestions on how we should improve ourselves. Apart from the locals staying around this area, we are seeing many tourists and expatriates coming to our outlet. We want to thank all our customers and stakeholders for their support’.
The company has a hire local and senior policy, where seniors and locals are given priority when recruiting masseurs.
Feet Haven is now open 7 days a week from 12 noon to 10pm on Sunday to Thursday and 12 noon to 11pm on Friday and Saturday.
