2 Degree Ice Art 2013/2014

21 November 2013, Singapore – Step into some of the world’s famous landmarks without ever leaving the rainy shores of Singapore this coming holiday season! For the upcoming six months, indulge in 30-odd stunning display of ice sculptures brought to you by 20 best ice sculptors from Harbin International Ice Lantern Art Association.

With the likes of London’s Big Ben, Paris’ Eiffel Tower and the Royal Palace of Cambodia, be blown away by the sheer size and details of the ice sculptures held at the opening field next to the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.

Organised by local start-up Century Ice Wonderland Pte Ltd with the participation of the Harbin International Ice lantern Art Association, 2 Degree Ice Art 2013-2014 is a $3.5 million spectacle occupying some 50,280 square feet of space with 450 tonnes of crystal-clear and coloured ice blocks, creating a truly unique winter wonderland in tropical Singapore.

Visitors will not only get to enjoy spectacular displays of ice art, including Singapore’s very own iconic Merlion alongside many other prominent world landmarks but they will also enjoy a winter experience of daily snowfall and ice playground for both adults and kids.

With a fully furnished ice bar that will be opened daily, drinks will be served in specially carved authentic ice mugs that visitors can throw against a target board once they are finished with their drinks.

Tickets are priced at $26 for children (those below 1.2m or below age 9 get free entry with an accompanied paying adult) and $32 for adults with family packages and promotions available through SISTIC and official website at www.2degree.biz. Opened from 10 a.m to 10 p.m daily, Ice Art 2013-2014 is located right next to Bayfront MRT (CE1 & DT16).
