“We are confident that the one-of-a-kind Jabra Rox Wireless earphones will be loved by everyone across the country, from music lovers to fashionable people. While it has an ultra- sleek design with a pair of premium magnets that can hold the headset securely around your neck, it also produces a superior and defined sound boosted by Dolby that you will really enjoy. Best of all, it can look great with any outfit that you plan for the day,” says Jonathon Tang, Vice President of Asia Pacific Jabra Consumer Solutions.
Inspired by in-ear monitors used by professional musicians to hear themselves perfectly when performing on stage, Jabra Rox Wireless is sculpted and designed to bring full-spectrum sound and maximum bass performance, enabling powerful speakers to deliver truly remarkable sound in rich Dolby stereo. Small and lightweight at only 19g, it is engineered for extreme durability and comfort. Crafted from premium materials including solid steel, the Rox Wireless can withstand the hard knocks. And since it’s also IP52-certified, these earphones are resistant to water and dust.
The Kevlar-reinforced cable linking both wireless earbuds also incorporates in-line controls for easy music and call management, while exclusive power-saving magnets automatically activate the power-saving mode when earbuds are clipped together and not in use.
Each earbud is home to a powerful 6mm dynamic speaker with passive noise reduction of 15dB and a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz with 92 dB sensitivity. Users can get absorbed in great music or chat in ultimate comfort with four ColorCoreTM eargels options designed for full sound and perfect fit. For ultra-active moments, users can also have a music experience that is uncompromised, since the earbuds can be locked in place using one of three EarWingsTM options.
As with most of Jabra’s products, the Rox Wireless is also equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 and Near Field Communication (NFC) Technology for easy one touch pairing. Users can enjoy music streaming and talk time of up to five and a half hours and a standby time of eight days on a single charge. With MultiuseTM Technology, up to eight devices can be paired and there can be up to two active connections at any one time.
Optimising the exclusive Jabra Sound App, users can not only play tunes and stream YouTube content in high definition Dolby Digital Plus, but can also create playlists, share music and adjust the graphic equalizer for an extra personalised listening experience.
Jabra Rox Wireless will be retailing at SGD 168 and will be available at Apple premium resellers, Epicentre, Gadget World, Infinite, iStudio, Nubox, Tech@Vogue, selected Challenger stores and other authorised Jabra resellers from 3 April 2014 onwards.
