Copper, an eclectic gin bar, has a futuristic and steampunk-esque theme and ‘alchemist meets mad scientist’ décor including crates and trunks accessorised with skulls, test tubes and beakers.
The intimate 2 storey venue sits 36 patrons downstairs, while a brand new modern omakase-styled restaurant welcomes 20 patrons upstairs.
Focusing on a gin-heavy menu for cocktails including over 30 self-infused gin concoctions with teas, spices and herbs. The bar also serves a variety of champagnes and spirits to suit any palette and preference.
Complementing the rich selection of beverages, the 600 sqft bar serves piping hot snacks and bar food with unique flavours including the popular Babi Guling Tacos, Angus Beef Meatballs, Lamb Kaftas, Beef Tendon Nachos and Mac and Cheese Balls.
Opening till 3.00am, Copper offers a supper menu that serves Classic French Onion Soup, Lamb Kebabs and Babi Guling Tacos.
With 2 menu options provided – Voyage ($128++) and Discovery ($178++), diners are taken on a gastronomical adventure with their respective 5 or 8 course menu, served communal style; along with their choice of side dishes, according to the number of diners in your party. Both menus are accompanied with a glass of Prosecco.
Mains include the A5 Japanese-grade Kagoshima Wagyu beef for the Voyage menu, lightly salted with mirin and gin glaze and the Wagyu beef, as well as the Pigeon a la Francaise served with turnips, sweet peas and smoked bacon with cognac flambé for the Discovery menu.
Side dishes to choose from include potato favourites like rosti and potato puree, corn options like corn flan and griddle cakes, vegetable selections like caramelised brussels sprout and leeks fondue and pasta choices including gorgonzola spätzle and zinfandel pasta.
Desserts include the Asian-inspired strawberry samosa, the delectable gorgonzola savoury cheesecake and petit fours.
Copper Dining offers 2 seatings for dinner service from 7.00pm to 8.30pm and 9.00pm to 10.30pm.
Priced from $10 onwards for gin tonics on Mondays to Wednesdays, Copper Bar is open from 6.00pm till 12 midnight, from Mondays to Wednesdays and serves its supper menu till 3.00am from Thursdays to Saturdays.
