Facial hair transplant is a procedure performed to restore hair to areas where facial hair is thin or missing. It is most commonly performed on the goatee and moustache areas but can also be performed on beards, sideburns and eyebrows.
Candidates who walk through our doors over the years have had loss of facial hair due to genetics, surgeries, burns or injuries. At times, they simply lack facial hairs.
The objective for this procedure typically varies from “filling in the spaces” in areas like the eyebrows and sideburns to creation of a thick full goatee or beard. Hence, it can be done both on areas where there is no hair and on areas where hair growth is thin and more fullness is desired.
The area used typically depends on which offers the closest match to the facial hair; sometimes it’s the back of the scalp while other times it’s the side of the scalp. Once transplanted, the hairs are permanent and typically grow just like facial hair with similar texture and characteristics. If one’s donor hair only offers thick terminal follicles unlike those on the recipient area, be assured that after a few hair cycles, the transplanted hairs will start to take on the characteristics of its surrounding hairs. To provide a natural appearance, the hairs are transplanted as one and sometimes two hair grafts, mimicking each individual’s natural hair distribution. The same angle and direction are followed and smallest possible incisions are made for even faster recovery.
Why should I do a FACIAL HAIR TRANSPLANT?
It’s believed that next to teeth, the eyebrows are the most important features on any face.
While most of us feel it’s worth going the extra mile to have them shaped, some of us find it
pointless when we don’t have enough of it to work on. That’s where a hair transplantation
procedure comes in.

professionals, we find that many men have walk through our doors with a concern that their natu-ral lack of density in this area makes it hard to grow a beard.

– 1000 to 2000 to create a full-on
A goatee is a good beard to grow if you have a weak chin, or a rounder face. It can help cover up and fill out that part of your face you feel is making you look less structured. A goatee is a versatile beard that can look good on many faces. However, to meet the objective, one needs to ensure 2 things:
1. that there is contrast between the hair and skin colour
2. that there is enough density
Average number of grafts: – typically between 600 to 800
