The All New 2018 NISSAN QASHQAI

Nissan Qashqai, the best-selling model in the Nissan line-up is now available with significant enhancements on four areas – a contemporary new exterior design; higher levels of interior quality; improved driving performance; and the addition of new Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies to deliver even greater levels of customer comfort, reassurance and trust.

“Since the introduction of this second generation Qashqai in 2014, its popularity quickly grew to become the best-seller for Nissan. Together with other Nissan crossover models, they have formed one of the main pillars in driving Nissan sales growth in Singapore. We hope the launch of the new 2018 Nissan Qashqai will help continue its lead in the segment,” said Mr Glenn Tan, Managing Director of Tan Chong International Limited.

Dramatic enhancements to the Nissan Qashqai are to its exterior. Featuring a contemporary new look – a style Nissan calls ‘Premium Dynamism’ – the upgrades are visible from every angle.

Exterior upgrades for a more contemporary design
– New front fascia with signature ‘V-motion’ grille and new Nissan badge
– New LED headlamps with ‘boomerang’ Day Time Running Lights extending right across the
top of the lamp unit
– New rear styling with redesigned bumper and revised rear lamps and LED boomerang
signature tail lights.
– New shark fin antenna
– New 17-inch and 19-inch alloy wheels
– Increase in overall length by 14mm, from 4,380 to 4,394mm
– Two new colour choices – Vivid Blue and Chestnut Bronze

The impact of the premium upgrades to the Nissan Qashqai is most obvious in the cabin. They have resulted in a higher level of perceived quality and refinement, a more driver-oriented interior and an enhanced feeling of total control.

The Nissan Qashqai has always been renowned for its confident drive. On ride comfort, the priority was calmer body motion and improved impact shock. This was achieved by retuning the dampers, reducing the single wheel spring rate, and modifying rubber components. The anti-roll bar stiffness has been increased to maintain handling performance. There is now reduced body motion when going over large bumps thanks to changes to the car’s Intelligent Ride Control system.

Interior enhancements boost new Qashqai’s premium appeal
– New D-shaped multi-functional steering wheel with four-way controller
– New nappa leather upholstery for 2.0L variant
– New power seat with lumbar support for driver and passenger in 2.0L variant
– New memory seat function for driver in 2.0L variant
