Now Onitsuka Tiger has updated one of its iconic shoes, “TIGER CORSAIR”, which was introduced in the 1970s and became the instigator of the later jogging boom, with a modern “TIGER CORSAIR EX” to be launched on January 2020.
For the upper, the design of the “TIGER CORSAIR” is adhered to: while maintaining its classic appearance, the sole unit has been updated. A uniquely developed shock absorber fuzeGEL has been inserted between the midsole and outer sole. For the innersole, OrthoLite is employed to provide all-day comfort.
The design features, such as the trendy voluminous sole unit and the stepped sole, have impact on fashion around the feet.
For the upper, two designs are available: one is a refined smooth leather and the other combines lightweight textile with suede. On the latter, the Onitsuka Tiger stripes are embroidered.
In 2020, almost half a century from its debut, the contemporary updated “TIGER CORSEA EX” will launch on 10 January 2020. The collection will be available at Onitsuka Tiger Takashimaya S.C., Jewel, Suntec City, and VivoCity and retails for $199.
