From 20 – 29 August 2020, the 10-day virtual fashion festival presents a curated digital experience of fashion presentations in various formats by up to 25 homegrown and regional brands as well as interactive talks and workshops with designers and creative talents.
The Front Row, Singapore’s definitive virtual fashion festival is presenting an exciting line-up of virtual fashion shows, style presentations as well as interactive workshops and gallery tours via www.thefrontrow.style, this inaugural 10day festival that aims to run twice a year is fashionably supported by Enterprise Singapore (ESG), under the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG), and organized by Daniel Boey Creatives and AP Media.
Embracing the new norm for the fashion and retail industry, The Front Row is a free-to-view, inclusive, season-less fashion initiative that allows every person to be in the most-coveted seat at a fashion show or event, but in the comfort of their own space, be it at home or the office.
The festival will allow consumers to “see now, buy now” at the click of their mouse after the show and there will also be backstage access, interactive workshops and talks, and post-show tête-à-tête with the designers to share about their collection, trends, and the industry at large.
We hope The Front Row’s innovative and entertaining platform can help to further enhance the digital presence of our local fashion, especially those making inroads to the industry. In a landmark collaboration between fashion and technology that creates an opportunity for fashion designers, digital creatives and technology developers to come together, we are creating a digital fashion revolution that is relevant even more now than before.Daniel Boey, Creative Director of The Front Row

A Voice For Sustainability
Many fashion industry luminaries have stepped up and declared the need for eco-friendly practices and sustainability efforts for brands to be relevant. As fashion goes green, one of the key focus of The Front Row is to highlight the need for the industry and its practitioners to rethink fashion with an eco-conscious sensibility and accountability. A cohort of brands participating in the festival will be demonstrating their sustainability commitment through their collection pieces and business practices.
More Than Just A Front Row Seat
The Front Row provides different touch points within its online portal to encourage audience participation and interaction. There will be a Virtual Fashion Village, which is an online marketplace that simulates real-life shopping experience via incorporated interactive elements to allow viewers to purchase items they like.
For viewers who are interested in creating their own fashion accessories or pieces can look forward to DIY workshops helmed by designers. There will also be a line-up of panel talks that delve into current topics, such as the future of fashion, sustainability efforts, and embracing the “new” normal for the fashion and retail trade, that viewers will be able to also share their views or ask questions.
