UNIQLO announced the launch of the Limited Edition Holiday Capsule Collection, the fourth collaboration with Finnish design house Marimekko, from Friday, November 27.
Challenging times have made it more important than ever to connect with family and close friends this holiday season. Themed Joyful together, our new collection combines the signature simplicity of UNIQLO apparel with Marimekko’s warm and spirited prints to celebrate togetherness at this special time of year. Modern silhouettes in soft and rich textures
The essence of the collection lies in joyful printed dresses. The poplin dresses of the collection carry some of the most iconic Marimekko prints of all time. This season sees the debut of warmflannel items. They include dresses in signature Marimekko prints, with modern tailoring and waist-accentuating belts. Shirts and pants in Kivet and Poppy prints are sized to serve as relaxed looks.
UNIQLO functionality in bold prints
The collection is replete with items delivering UNIQLO’s outstanding functionality. Among them are Ultra Light Down coats with modified collars for a more sophisticated look. There are also Ultra Light Down Hooded Jackets for when out and about. UNIQLO has added leggings to the HEATTECH range that coordinate perfectly with turtlenecks. Dynamic prints for these items include Lokki and Keidas.
Perfect gifts for kids
The collection also features kids’ items with delightful prints, among them the heart-themedSiamilaiset Sydämet and Tarha, a Nordic garden-inspired pattern. Girls’ T-shirts incorporate chest motifs and can be worn solo or layered with dresses. Pieces that make great gifts include Girls’ packable Ultra Light Down Jackets, dresses that coordinate with mothers’ outfits, and newborn coveralls.
