The LEGO® Group, in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board and the Orchard Road Business Association, is bringing a bang to Orchard Road from July 7th to 16th, 2023. The LEGO® BTS Dynamite Experience, a celebration of the 21st-century pop sensation, BTS, will be held in front of Ngee Ann City. This interactive spectacle is geared to offer visitors visually stunning photo ops, interactive activities, and an exciting immersive experience that enhances the vibrant allure of Singapore’s prime lifestyle destination.
The LEGO® BTS Dynamite pop-up spans across three distinct zones: the LEGO® BTS Big Builds Stage, Disco Retail Zone, and Record Discovery Zone, which are spread over a 39-meter stretch on Orchard Road. Visitors can anticipate a plethora of photo opportunities and engaging activities in each of these zones.
The LEGO® BTS Big Builds Stage showcases BTS band members as LEGO minifigures, reproduced as 1.2m figurines made of over 161,000 LEGO bricks. Modelled after the BTS Dynamite music video, visitors will find appealing backdrops for photographs and an open space to replicate the band’s iconic dance moves.
The Disco Retail Zone is where shopping and interactive fun meet. Here, visitors can explore the first-ever large-scale LEGO BTS Diorama, constructed from more than 10,000 LEGO bricks, inspired by the Dynamite MV scenes. An interactive photo booth, featuring “Dynamite” music-themed graphic stickers, adds an extra layer of fun to the retail experience. Visitors can also avail themselves of up to 25% off on LEGO® sets like the LEGO® IDEAS BTS Dynamite Set, with added promotions such as gift with purchase and bundle deals on selected items.
In the Record Discovery Zone, visitors can join in on activities like the LEGO® Donut Build, inspired by the doughnut structure in the BTS Dynamite music video, and contribute to Singapore’s largest LEGO Donut Wall for the Singapore Book of Records. Other activities include building your LEGO minifigure, participating in a dance-off, and earning a chance to play the LEGO Claw Machine to win special prizes.
Orchard Road also offers additional experiences to complement the LEGO® BTS Dynamite pop-up. The Brick Walkers will host a LEGO BTS Dynamite trivia on July 8th, and the public can take photos with LEGO BTS photo standees on July 9th, both offering the opportunity to win a prize.
