THE CAT’S OUT FOR CHRISTMAS: MOFUSAND TAKES OVER CAPITALAND MALLS THIS FESTIVE SEASON

The holidays in Singapore are about to get paw-sitively adorable as CapitaLand Investment unveils Southeast Asia’s first and largest Mofusand-themed Christmas showcase. The beloved Japanese cat illustrations by artist Juno are making their biggest appearance outside Japan, transforming 17 CapitaLand malls into a kawaii wonderland from 5 November 2025.

The festive fun began with the surprise debut of an 8-metre-tall inflatable Mofusand at CQ @ Clarke Quay, accompanied by 25 smaller cats that delighted shoppers and fans. These inflatable icons will make two more surprise one-day appearances on 25 October and 29 October at undisclosed CapitaLand malls before the full Christmas takeover begins.

Each mall will feature themed displays inspired by fan favourites — Board Shark, Fruit Meow, and Coffee & Donuts— turning every corner into a photo-ready moment. From cats surfing among penguins to those lounging in donut cafés, the immersive setups promise a visual treat for all ages.

The celebration peaks at Bugis Junction, where all three Mofusand worlds unite to create a full-fledged Mofusand Town. The festivities extend beyond décor with exclusive pop-up stores and Mofusand’s first-ever Japanese F&B collaboration with Sushi Tei, offering limited-edition menu items and merchandise.
