8 November 2013, Singapore – TP Vision will be introducing a new PFL8008 series of premium Philips Smart TVs, designed to meet the requirements of even the most demanding consumers by combining outstanding build quality and style with an extended feature list. The Philips TV PFL8008 series offers advanced networking and streaming capabilities, high-level picture quality features in 2D and 3D, sophisticated user-interaction capabilities, interactive Smart TV services, and a remote control allowing for pointing navigation and keyboard input. The new high-performance Philips TV 8000 series models are available in all leading electronics stores.

The FPL8008 Philips TVs’ glass screens are finished by a high quality dark steel surround perfectly matching their polished chrome ‘U Frame’ stands. And although the sets are very slim and narrow, they still include a Skype camera in the Philips badge below the screen.

Powered by high-performance dual-core processors, the PFL8008 Philips TVs offer a wide selection of top-class picture quality features including 1400 Hz Perfect Motion Rate plus 3D Super Resolution for superb motion sharpness, and Local Contrast to improve the screen’s splendid intrinsic contrast even further. 3D Max – supporting active 3D shutter-glasses, Premium 3D Depth and Premium 2D-3D conversion – provides an excellent 3D experience.

Smart TV users will appreciate the convenience of the PFL8008’s remote control with pointing capability and built-in keyboard. And with the increasing popularity of mobile devices as second screens the PFL8008 Philips TVs support Philips MyRemote app, Wi-Fi Miracast™ and SimplyShare to allow wireless streaming to and from mobile products. Philips TVs are also ready to be automatically upgraded for MultiRoom viewing, using an application to stream from the master TV to a secondary TV.

The new Philips PFL8008 TVs are available in Singapore at all authorised retailers, at the following prices:
