Silangit International Airport (DTB) is the nearest airport to Lake Toba, located approximately 50 kilometers away. Direct flights from Singapore to Silangit are available on airlines like Garuda Indonesia and Lion Air, with prices starting from S$150 for a one-way trip. The flight duration is around 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Upon arrival at Silangit Airport, you can hire a taxi or a private car to reach your accommodation around Lake Toba. The journey takes about 1.5-2 hours and costs between S$40 and S$60, depending on the vehicle type and negotiation skills.
